As well as our talks, some 4 visits for members over the year are advertised at meetings.
Coming soon
Tuesday 20th March 2012 at 11.30 am: A visit to the Bank of England Museum . This will include an audio-visual presentation on the history of the bank from 1694 to the present day, the expansion of the building, bank notes and gold, There will be an opportunity for questions and also time to visit the museum.
19 April at 11 a.m. Charles Dickens: a walk in the City of London with Mollie Rumbelow who is a member of BDFAS and a blue badge guide.
Thursday 23rd August. Summer coach trip to the Watts Gallery at Compton, and Hatchlands, a National Trust property, both near Guildford. We shall be having a guided tour of the gallery and time to visit the chapel.

Members may book at the monthly Thursday meetings. Please bring cheque books for payment.
Past visits
Recent visits have included:
- coach trip to Standen house and gardens, and Sackville College, East Grinstead;
- a look at portraits in the National Gallery with one of our speakers as a follow up to her talk..
We have also enjoyed tours in and around Cardiff, Nancy, Dresden and Rouen, and we have visited the Italian Lakes.
